Importing a zone report template
Upload your own report template and manage your template library — rename, download, or delete templates from the report dialog.
Custom templates are a SoundBase Pro feature. Templates are stored per user, not per project, so one template works across all your projects.
Upload a template
Section titled “Upload a template”- In the zone toolbar, click Share Zone → Document Zone Report and switch to the Custom tab.
- Next to the Template picker, click the + button to open the uploader.
- Drop your template file in. A good starting point is downloading one of the SoundBase templates (the download button next to the picker) and editing it in Word or LibreOffice.
Manage your templates
Section titled “Manage your templates”From the Template picker you can also:
- Rename a template (the pencil button),
- Download it — to edit an existing template or share it,
- Delete it (confirmed with Delete Template?).
Building templates
Section titled “Building templates”Templates use the Carbone template language — placeholders in a DOCX file that get filled with your project’s data at render time. The knowledge-base article Modifying report templates documents the JSON structure SoundBase sends (project, client, groups, frequencies, TV channels, exclusions) and links to the Carbone documentation.
