Supported devices

SoundBase Desktop talks to wireless systems from several manufacturers: it can set frequencies and names, show live meters on the Monitoring page, and — on some hardware — run a live scan on the plot.

  • Control — set frequency, channel names, and device parameters from SoundBase
  • Monitoring — live meters and telemetry on the Monitoring page and Remote View
  • Scanning — use the device’s receiver or antennas as a spectrum scanner

Spectera scanning uses the Base Station’s antenna ports — each connected antenna can feed a live scan trace on the plot.

Beyond the receivers above, the plot’s live scan also works with dedicated spectrum analyzers — RF Venue Spectrum Recorder, tinySA Ultra, Owon HSA1016, and anything else via the Spectrum Analyzer Bridge. See Connecting a live scan device.
