Managing single frequencies

Everything in one frequency’s menu: details and health, recalculating, finding spares, accepting or ignoring, flagging, locking, moving, and deleting.

Hover a row in the coordination list and click its menu.

Frequency Details opens the frequency’s full record, with two tabs:

  • Details — names, Transmitter type/model, Power output, Antenna type, Microphone type and element, Battery type, accessories, and Frequency notes. This is the metadata that feeds reports and frequency-request workflows.
  • Calculation Parameters — the read-only truth about how this frequency was calculated: the equipment profile (with editable Profile Variant and Band Plan), the tuning-range table (Start / Stop / Step Size / Spacing), the IMD spacing table (2T3O / 3T3O / 2T5O / 2T7O), and the calculation-time context: scan data and threshold, TV-channel white space, Site Interactions, Zone Interactions, and time-of-use state.

Side panels appear when relevant: Spectrum (a focused live plot around the frequency) and Monitoring (the linked device’s live meters).

  • Health Check — run the four compatibility checks for just this frequency (also available as the hover popover on the value).
  • Manually Accept Frequency — appears on red (uncoordinated) frequencies: accept it despite the conflict; it turns orange and its tooltip records the reason it had failed.
  • Calculation… → Mark as Ignored and Stop Ignoring — take the frequency out of (or back into) calculations entirely; see Ignoring frequencies.
  • Calculation… → Add to Frequency Exclusions — see Excluding single frequencies.
  • Recalculate Frequency opens Confirm Recalculation Settings, where you can also Change Profile (and variant), pick a different Band plan, or adjust which IMD Tests apply — then recalculate just this one.
  • Calculation… → Find Spares loads the frequency’s profile and searches for additional compatible frequencies — the quickest “give me two more of these”.
  • Calculation… → Calculation History shows every recalculation this frequency has been through, with notes.
  • Mark as Deployed / Unmark as Deployed — the yellow “already in hardware” flag (more).
  • Flag Frequency / Unflag Frequency — a personal attention marker; flagged rows tint yellow (a collaborator’s flags tint orange).
  • Focus Frequency / Center Frequency — zoom or center the plot on it.
  • Move… → Move to a different group — or drag the row onto another group. Relocate Frequency (SoundBase Pro) retunes it by hand with an automatic Health Check — see Relocating frequencies.
  • Lock Frequency / Unlock Frequency — locked frequencies keep their value through any recalculation.
  • Delete Frequency — confirmed; deletion is permanent and also clears any pending device changes for the row.
