Band plan snapshots

Save a site’s whole set of band plans as a named snapshot and load it into any other site or project — your personal band-plan library.

Snapshots are stored on your user account, not in the project, so the plans you’ve refined for festival work or broadcast trucks travel with you across every project.

Requirements

Band plan snapshots require a SoundBase Pro subscription. Without it, the Snapshots control shows a Pro badge and is disabled.

Save a snapshot

1. Open the band plan manager (Creating band plans) with the plans you want to keep.
2. Click the + button next to the Snapshots selector (Save band plan snapshot).
3. Name it in the Save Band Plan Snapshot dialog and click Save.

Load a snapshot

1. In the band plan manager, pick a snapshot from the Snapshots selector.
2. Confirm — the warning is explicit: loading replaces all current band plans for this site, and that can’t be undone.

The snapshot’s plans (names, ranges, colors, and Protect flags) become the site’s band plans.

Delete a snapshot

Select it and click the trash button (Delete snapshot), then confirm.

Note

The Snapshots selector shows a name only while the site’s plans still exactly match that snapshot. As soon as you edit, add, or remove a plan, the selection clears itself — that’s the manager telling you the site has diverged from the snapshot, not a bug. Save a new snapshot to capture the changed set.
