Deleting groups
Delete a group and everything in it — permanently, for every collaborator — and what to check before you do.
Delete a group
Section titled “Delete a group”- Click the group’s Group Actions (⋮) button.
- Click Delete Group (also available as Delete in the Group Details modal).
- Confirm. The dialog states the stakes: This will permanently delete all data (N frequencies) for this group. If this is shared, all collaborators will lose it too.
Deletion removes the group’s frequencies and settings, any exclusion ranges it owned (frequency-hopping ranges), its real-time report link, and its linked monitored device and channels.
If Delete Group is greyed out
Section titled “If Delete Group is greyed out”- Frequencies are selected — clear the selection first; the tooltip says so.
- The group is locked — unlock it.
- The site is locked or you have viewer-only access.
Groups from frequency requests
Section titled “Groups from frequency requests”If the group was created by an inbound frequency request, the confirmation adds: Deleting this group will reset the frequency request. The requester’s submission returns to its unprocessed state — see Viewing frequency requests.
