Running a zone Health Check

Analyze every frequency in the zone against the current RF environment and see exactly why each problem frequency fails — band plans, TV channels, IMD spacing, exclusions, and more.

Health Check answers the question “is my plan still valid right now?” It re-tests the zone’s frequencies against the current TV channels, exclusions, scan data, band plans, and neighbor frequencies, and itemizes every violation it finds.

Run a Health Check

  1. In the zone toolbar, click Health Check. The Health Check modal opens for the current zone and analyzes immediately.
  2. Review the results — each problem frequency lists its issues by type:
    • Direct Hit — conflicts with another frequency’s spacing
    • IMD Spacing — intermodulation products land too close
    • Broadcast Channel — inside an active TV channel
    • Exclusion Range / Exclusion Threshold — inside a blocked range, or above the scan-data threshold
    • Band Plan / Isolated Band Plan — outside the assigned band plan’s ranges
    • Frequency Range / Not Tunable — outside what the equipment can tune
  3. Use the filter (All / Incompatible only) to focus, and the refresh button (Reanalyze frequencies in this zone) after you change anything.

Let it update statuses — or not

The Frequency status setting controls whether the analysis writes back:

  • Allow Health Check to update frequency status — frequencies that fail get marked incompatible (and fixed ones recover).
  • Do not allow Health Check to update frequency status — analysis is purely informational; nothing in the coordination list changes.

Reset Status reverts the status changes the Health Check made, if you let it update and want that undone.
