Recalculating a group

Recalculate all, selected, or only the incompatible frequencies in one group — with notes, band-plan overrides, and a per-group calculation history.

Start a group recalculation

1. Click the group’s Group Actions (⋮) button and hover Recalculate…:
   • Recalculate All In Group
   • Recalculate Selected In Group — needs at least one selected frequency
   • Recalculate Incompatible Only — needs at least one incompatible frequency
2. The recalculation dialog opens, scoped to the group:
   • Recalculation Notes (Optional) — recorded in the calculation history.
   • Band plan — keep current band plans, apply a specific one, or clear them from the affected frequencies.
   • Change Profile — per device model, optionally swap the equipment profile; the swapped frequencies are marked incompatible and recalculated with the new profile.
3. Click Recalculate.

If some frequencies can’t be solved, the failure dialog offers Try Again, Undo Recalculation, and Mark as Ignored — the same flow as zone recalculation.

Calculation history

⋮ → Calculation History opens the history for this group: every recalculation with its date, scope (Individual / Group / Zone), notes, and outcome. Useful for answering “who recalculated the IEMs during dinner, and why”.

Note

• Locked groups can’t be recalculated — see Locking groups.
• Frequency-hopping and broadband groups have no recalculate items (they hold ranges, not discrete frequencies).
• When time-of-use restricts a combination, bulk recalculation may be blocked with a prompt to recalculate per group or per single frequency instead — see Setting time-of-use.
