Moving groups to zones

Move a group to another zone — with a compatibility analysis first, so you know what will break before it does.

Move a group

1. Click the group’s Group Actions (⋮) button and choose Move Group to…. (The item only appears when the site has more than one zone.)
2. In the Move Group dialog, pick the destination under Select destination zone.
3. Click Analyze. Coord dry-runs the group’s frequencies against the destination zone’s environment and reports either:
   • All frequencies successfully analyzed. Ready to move. — or
   • N frequencies will be marked as incompatible. — the move still works; those frequencies turn red in the new zone, ready to recalculate.
4. Click Move.

Note

• Locked groups can’t be moved — unlock first (Locking groups).
• To move a group to a zone in a different site, export its zone and import it into the other site, or duplicate the site.
• To move individual frequencies rather than a whole group: drag the frequency row onto another group, or select frequencies and use Move Selected Freqs to…. Frequency-hopping groups can’t receive frequencies.
