Plot panels and views
Split the plot into up to three panels, switch each between specialized views — Mask, Waterfall, Focus, Markers, RTSA — and pop the plot into its own window.
The standalone plot window
Section titled “The standalone plot window”Click Open plot in standalone window in the control bar to open the full plot at its own URL in a separate browser window — ideal for a second monitor. The standalone window has the same controls (minus expand/collapse); note that candidates can’t be added to the coordination from there — accept them in the main window.
There’s also a Standalone Monitoring View (the heartbeat button, SoundBase Desktop): a separate window pairing the plot in monitoring mode with a live frequency table, colored by your monitoring thresholds.
Multiple panels
Section titled “Multiple panels”With the plot expanded (or standalone), the 1 / 2 / 3 buttons in the control bar split it into that many stacked panels. Each panel picks its own view from the dropdown at its top-left corner.
The views
Section titled “The views”- Default — the normal spectrum plot.
- Mask — replaces the frequency bars with each device’s emission-mask outline, so you can see shoulder overlap between neighbors. TV overlays and markers hide to keep it readable.
- Waterfall — a scrolling time-versus-frequency history of the live scan. Only offered while a live scan is streaming.
- Focus — a wall of narrowband mini-plots, one per frequency of interest, each a couple of MHz wide. Search your coordinated frequencies, or pin any value with Custom frequency → Add; remove pins as needed. Perfect for watching your most exposed channels up close.
- Markers — a live table (Frequency / Name / Bandwidth / Amplitude) instead of a graph, with amplitude bars colored by your monitoring thresholds. Add Marker pins arbitrary watch frequencies with a name and bandwidth.
- RTSA — a filled, real-time-analyzer style rendering of the live trace. Like Waterfall, it’s available while live scan data is streaming.
