Locking/unlocking groups

Lock a group to freeze its frequencies — recalculation skips them, and destructive group actions are disabled until unlocked.

To lock or unlock a group:

1. Click the group’s Group Actions (⋮) button.
2. Click Lock Group (or Unlock Group).

What locking does

Locking sets the locked flag on every frequency in the group, which means:

• Recalculations and automatic adjustments skip the group’s frequencies — they keep their values no matter what changes around them.
• The group’s destructive and structural actions are disabled while locked: Time-of-Use, the Recalculate… items, Delete All Frequencies In Group, Move Group to…, and Delete Group.
• Collaborators can’t modify the frequencies either — the lock is shared state, not a personal setting.

A group shows as locked once all of its frequencies are locked; individual frequencies can also be locked one at a time from their own rows.

Note

• An empty group can’t be locked (there’s nothing to lock).
• Static frequencies arrive pre-locked by design.
• The group lock protects frequencies from recalculation; it’s different from the site lock, which stops collaborators from editing the site’s coordination state while you work.
