SoundBase Desktop

The native macOS and Windows app: offline work, local-only projects, hardware control and monitoring, and live spectrum tools.

SoundBase Desktop is the same SoundBase — same projects, same collaborators — plus everything that has to happen close to your hardware and your venue’s network. Download it here, then see Downloading & installing.

Complete your time-consuming prep before you’re on site, with or without internet. Cloud projects stay fully editable offline and sync automatically when the connection returns.

Create projects as local — stored only on your machine, never synced to SoundBase Cloud. Choose per project at creation; see project types.

Discover networked receivers, IEMs, and chargers from Shure, Sennheiser, Wisycom, Lectrosonics, and Sound Devices on your control network; deploy coordinated frequencies to them; and monitor RF, audio, link quality, and battery live on the Monitoring page, with recordable telemetry history. Share live monitoring to any browser on your network with Remote View, listen in via the REAPER integration, and put channels on Stream Deck buttons through Bitfocus Companion.

Connect a spectrum analyzer — RF Venue, tinySA Ultra, Owon, Wisycom, Sennheiser Spectera, or anything via the analyzer bridge — and get a live trace on the plot: waterfall and RTSA views, recorded sweeps saved as scan files, and interference caught as it happens.

Organize projects into custom folders and keep show files alongside them with cloud storage.
