Reporting a bug
Where to report problems, share feedback, and get help — and what to include so an issue can actually be reproduced.
Everything support-related is behind the Help (?) button in the navigation bar:
- SoundBase Docs — this documentation.
- Join our Discord — the community; usually the fastest route to an answer, with SoundBase staff present.
- Report a Bug — opens the support help center, where you file a ticket.
- Give Feedback — rate your experience from 1 to 5 and add comments; product feedback rather than a support request.
- What’s new? — release notes.
- Status — live service status for the SoundBase cloud services.
Filing a good bug report
Section titled “Filing a good bug report”Include as much of this as you can — it’s usually the difference between a fixed bug and an unreproducible one:
- What happened, and what you expected instead.
- Steps to reproduce, in order.
- Where: SoundBase Desktop (with its version) or the browser (which browser), and your operating system.
- When: roughly the date and time — it helps correlate server-side logs.
- Which project, site, and zone the problem occurred in.
- Screenshots or a screen recording, if the issue is visual.
- For device or monitoring problems: the manufacturer and model, plus how it’s connected.
Urgent, show-critical problems
Section titled “Urgent, show-critical problems”If something is broken during a show, the Discord community is the fastest channel. SoundBase Pro subscribers also have premium support — see your plan’s terms for response times.
