Which document applies to you
Section titled “Which document applies to you”- Using SoundBase at all — the Terms & Conditions and the End User License Agreement. You accept both when you create an account, and again whenever they’re updated.
- Asking what happens to your data — the Privacy policy describes the processing itself; Data protection describes the technical safeguards around it.
- Asking about billing — the Refund Policy.
Where the related controls live in the app
Section titled “Where the related controls live in the app”- Accepting the agreements — presented when you create an account, and shown again when a document changes.
- Analytics sharing — opt in or out anytime under My Settings → Profile (Editing profile settings). The browser app loads analytics only after you consent; SoundBase Desktop never does.
- Keeping a project off the cloud entirely — SoundBase Desktop can store a project locally so it never syncs (cloud or local projects). Useful for clients with sensitive event data.
- Getting your data out — export a project, site, zone, or group at any time in open formats (Exporting/importing a project).
- Securing your account — two-factor authentication and the security settings.
- Changing your email or closing your account — not self-service; contact support (Your account).
