What is SoundBase?
SoundBase is a collaborative platform that helps audio teams organize, plan, and manage productions in a single shared space. One project holds everything, and every collaborator sees changes live.
The platform is a suite of applications; when you create a project you choose what to launch it in:
- Coord (Frequency Coordination) — frequency coordination, spectrum analysis, hardware control, and device monitoring. This is SoundBase’s flagship application, and most of these docs cover it — see Working in Coord.
- Nexus (Intercom Management) — intercom requests and management.
- Harmony (Audio Documentation) — audio patch and input list requests and management. Currently in development.
- Dashboard (Project Management) — crew, trucking, IP configuration, and logistics. Currently in development.

Cloud or Desktop?
Section titled “Cloud or Desktop?”SoundBase comes in two forms. Both include all SoundBase applications; Desktop adds everything that requires living close to your hardware.
