This chapter describes how to work with and use the Coord application.

A Site is an organizational and computational tool in a Coord project. It represents a venue or location where wireless devices will be used or simply "a unique RF environment".

  - Project management area

        You can show or hide the frequency plot at the bottom of the screen.

      - Duplicating sites
        Sites can be easily duplicated and reorganized according to your preferences.
    - Zones
      A Zone is a sub-division within a site, representing a physical space that may need different calculation parameters or to organize frequencies. Zones contain Groups that hold frequencies.
    - Groups
      In a Coord project, groups are the final organizational component as they hold individual frequencies.
  - Coordination area
    The coordination area displays all frequencies in selected zones and divided groups. It also defines the time of use.
  - Details area
    The details area has five main sections across the top: Statistics, Devices (Desktop version only), Candidates, Profiles, Requests, and Tools.
  - Calculation area
    This is the area where you decide how to find frequencies for your coordination.

  SoundBase was meticulously developed incorporating custom APIs that offer unique functionality.

  You can uninstall the application and remove all stored files based on your operating system.

  The new License Manager for SoundBase Desktop simplifies and streamlines the management of software licenses, enhancing user experience and efficiency.

Creating a document site report

You can create and export a site report and/or save it as a template.

The coordinator drop-down changes the name on the report.
Output type lets you choose between PDF, ODT (open doc text format), and DOCX (MS Word format).
Template lets you select between the SoundBase default templates. You can create your own template but that it currently outside the scope of this help document.
Manage report content lets you choose what to include in the report.
View PDF before saving will open a PDF in another browser window rather than automatically downloading to your computer. This allows you to print without cluttering your downloads folder more easily.

To create a new report:

In the site bar of the Project management area, click the button.
Click on Document Site Report.
A new form opens.
From the drop-down menus, select your preferred options and choose the content you want to include in your report.
Click on Create Report.

A new site report has been created.
