You can uninstall the application and remove all stored files based on your operating
system.
Removing these folders will delete all configuration and saved data for SoundBase
Desktop. Before deletion, consider backing up any important files if you plan to
reinstall the application.
To remove the application on MacOS:

Open your Applications folder.

Locate the SoundBase Desktop application and move it to the
Trash.
The application has been removed.
To remove the configuration files on macOS:

Open Finder, click on the Go menu, and press the
Option key to reveal the Library option.

Navigate to the following directory: .
-
If the Library folder is not visible:
- Go to your Home directory.
- Press
Command + Shift + . to display hidden files and
folders.
- Open the Library folder and go to the Preferences
directory.
The configuration files have been removed.
To delete SoundBase Desktop preferences on MacOS:

In the Preferences folder, delete any folders named:
- SoundBase Desktop
- SoundBaseDesktop
The preferences have been removed.
To uninstall the application on Windows®:

Open the Start Menu and search for Add or remove
programs.Windows.

Locate SoundBase Desktop in the list of installed programs and select
Uninstall.
The application has been successfully uninstalled.
To find and remove residual files:

Navigate to the AppData folder.

Open File Explorer.
-
In the address bar, type %AppData% and press Enter to open
the folder.

Alternatively, go to C:\Users\<YourUsername>\AppData.
If the folder is hidden:
- Go to the View tab in File Explorer.
- Enable Hidden items.

Search for and delete any folders named:
- SoundBase Desktop
- SoundBaseDesktop
The files may appear in multiple locations within the
AppData directory (e.g.,
Local, Roaming or
LocalLow).

Check for any remaining SoundBase Desktop folders on your system, including common
installation or configuration directories.
The SoundBase Desktop files have been removed.
SoundBase Desktop has been successfully uninstalled.
