  You can start with the free online version to test and explore the SoundBase platform and its features.
  - Downloading & installing Desktop version
    The application is freely available and can be downloaded directly from the website.

    In order to use SoundBase, you'll need to create an account. Your account works with both the free online version and Desktop upgrade.

    SoundBase Desktop requires ports 8427 and 2202 to function properly.

If you encounter this error, it indicates that SoundBase Desktop contains a component that relies on x86 architecture, necessitating the use of Rosetta for proper functionality.

To fix the unknown system error -86:

Close SoundBase Desktop.
Open a terminal and type softwareupdate --install-rosetta.
Accept the terms by typing A and then press ENTER.
Rosetta will be installed.
Reopen SoundBase Desktop.

The error has been fixed.
