Working with Coord
This chapter describes how to work with and use the Coord application.
Project management area
Here you can organize your project structure by creating sites, manage collaborator access, and adjust profile settings — including your licenses.
Zones
A Zone is a sub-division within a site, representing a physical space that may need different calculation parameters or to organize frequencies. Zones contain Groups that hold frequencies.
Excluding frequencies
You can exclude either single frequencies or a frequency range from your coordination.
Excluding a frequency range
Here you can manage frequency range exclusions by adjusting values, activating or removing them. Range exclusions are for all zones in the site.

  - Project management area

    - Sites
      A Site is an organizational and computational tool in a Coord project. It represents a venue or location where wireless devices will be used or simply "a unique RF environment".
    - Zones
      A Zone is a sub-division within a site, representing a physical space that may need different calculation parameters or to organize frequencies. Zones contain Groups that hold frequencies.
      - Creating new zone
        You can create multiple sites to manage different zones and frequencies in one single project.
      - Selecting a zone
        You can switch between zones you've created. Furthermore you can recalculate.
      - Importing zones
        Import your existing or exported zones to your site.
      - Exporting zones
        You can export your created zone and import it into your site later.
      - Creating a zone report/template
        You can create and export a zone report and/or save it as a template.
      - Importing a zone report/template
        You can import your created template to Coord.
      - Creating a real-time zone report
        Enabling the report make the real-time report link “live”.
      - Editing zone settings
        You can add and manage Details, Interactions, Broadcast Standards, and File Manager settings for your site.

        You can exclude either single frequencies or a frequency range from your coordination.

        Here you can manage frequency range exclusions by adjusting values, activating or removing them. Range exclusions are for all zones in the site.
        Removing frequencies from exclusion
        You can remove the frequencies from exclusion.
        Exclusion threshold isn’t respecting Scan Data
      - Recalculating incompatible frequencies
        You can recalculate incompatible frequencies in your selected zone by choosing an optional equipment profile.
      - Adding static frequencies
        You can either manually enter a list of frequencies or import a CSV file. The frequencies will be added as a new group in the current zone.
      - Enabling monitoring view
        The monitoring feature shows the RF signal's current amplitude from an imported scan.
      - Mark frequencies as deployed
        You can mark selected frequencies in your zone as deployed manually.
      - Mark frequencies as incompatible
        You can mark selected frequencies in your zone as incompatible manually.
    - Groups
      In a Coord project, groups are the final organizational component as they hold individual frequencies.
  - Coordination area
    The coordination area displays all frequencies in selected zones and divided groups. It also defines the time of use.
  - Details area
    The details area has five main sections across the top: Statistics, Devices (Desktop version only), Candidates, Profiles, Requests, and Tools.
  - Calculation area
    This is the area where you decide how to find frequencies for your coordination.

  SoundBase was meticulously developed incorporating custom APIs that offer unique functionality.
- Uninstalling SoundBase Desktop
  You can uninstall the application and remove all stored files based on your operating system.

  The new License Manager for SoundBase Desktop simplifies and streamlines the management of software licenses, enhancing user experience and efficiency.

Excluding a frequency range

Here you can manage frequency range exclusions by adjusting values, activating or removing them. Range exclusions are for all zones in the site.

To exclude a frequency range:

In the Zones area, click the button.
A new form opens.
Type a start and stop frequency to be excluded.
Optionally, select Use TV Channel start and stop to exclude frequency channels by selecting channel numbers.

The frequency range will be excluded.
