SoundBase is not affiliated with Shure's Wireless Workbench or Professional Wireless Systems' IAS. These applications are excellent tools, and this guide simply aims to help new SoundBase users understand how the platform works.
To start the coordination:
‣ Familiarize yourself with the user interface.
‣ Create a new project.
‣ Verify that SoundBase’s estimated receivable TV channels are valid for your given location.
For best results, use a spectrum analyzer to scan the venue and import this data into your project using the Scan Data feature.
‣ Import your scans to your project.
‣ Disable or enable TV channels to match your scan file
‣ Begin planning and calculating your frequencies.
There are two different methods for calculating frequencies:
- Additive calculation method (preferred)
