Which devices will be supported?

At launch in 2026, TC Bars and will be supported.

In the future, existing products and all new products will be compatible with the application.

How long will Control Cockpit be available?

Control Cockpit will not be phased out until there is an alternative way to configure and monitor all relevant devices.

Can I use Cockpit and DeviceHub in parallel with the same device, or switch back to Control Cockpit after trying out DeviceHub?

Yes, you can. The firmware update allows you to use the cloud app and LUI, but the device stays compatible with Control Cockpit, too. We recommend opting for one solution though.

Where is the cloud-based data hosted and stored?

The application is hosted on Microsoft Azure, which adheres to internationally recognized security standards, including ISO/IEC 27001, GDPR, and SOC 2 compliance. Private data is stored in one of the 3 regions, closest to the user: AMER, EMEA, APAC.

How much will the new cloud platform cost?

Every feature which is built in the application currently will be free to use for all.

Is it available in languages other than English?

Currently, it is available in English. Support for additional languages is planned based on customer needs but will not be included at launch.

Are there any countries in which it will not be available?

DeviceHub is available globally except in Russia, Belarus, North Korea, and China. Due to Microsoft Azure restrictions in China, customers there can use the Local Web UI and the 3rd party device API.

What device should I use to run the application?

We recommend using a desktop or laptop computer. Mobile devices and touch screens are not supported. The smallest supported screen size is 1280×982. This setup ensures the application displays clearly and performs smoothly.

Will there be an on-premises version?

No, DeviceHub is a cloud-only solution and will not be offered on-premise.

What if a customer doesn’t want to use a cloud solution?

All supported devices (existing and new products) will offer a built-in Local Web UI, allowing for on-device configuration without installing any software. Additionally, the 3rd party device API enables integration into custom or existing 3rd party monitoring systems.

Will it allow supporting alliance products via API integration?

No. It is designed exclusively for managing and monitoring Sennheiser devices. API integration for alliance products is not planned at this stage.

Why are many features missing that competitor tools already have, or that customers need?

It’s true that competitor tools that are on the market for longer are more mature and show a more extensive feature set. We are following an iterative approach, which means we are launching with the minimal feature set that starts to create value for the customers. Step by step, we will add more functionality and enhancements. Focusing on the core features first allow us to launch sooner, instead of building more and delaying the availability to customers.
